Georgia on my Mind

Crazy how things work out! One month all you want to do is leave where you're from and the next you're dying to get back.

The job I have ended up not working out, a.k.a. I hated it and decided to quit. So I'm headed back to Georgia this weekend :) No harm, no foul. I'm glad I came though.. Boston is an awesome city, met some awesome people, and had a great summer filled with good adventures. Now it's time to go home and get focused on a career that makes me happy.

So.. I watched the new Trey Songz video "your side of the bed" and it was quite well done! Sad and a little predictable but I was very impressed..

And then I got in the mood to listen to even more quality R&B.. Next up was Alicia and even though I'm just now giving her newest CD a chance, man is it amazing.. There's some real powerful stuff on there..

I ended up at Best Buy Tuesday and remembered the summer Alyssa and I spent every Tuesday in best buy buying new albums from artists we didn't even know.. But had a great time doing it.. Picked up the new true blood DVD set and got to thinking about an album I've been anticipating that STILL hasn't hit stores..

Apparently when you have a blog you're supposed to write in it.. It's only been a year since I wrote last no biggie.. My little brother says I should blog more.. Maybe I'll try a little harder.

so for some reason I've know 2 or 3 people in the past week to get Dave Matthews tattoos... odd to anyone else or is that just me? I guess i'd rather it be dmb than soulja boi. ha!

Rap is a gimmick, but I'm for the hip-hop, the culture.

Tell me that's not a party you'd want to be at.. If you did, you'd be lying. end of story. Kudos to Adidas for putting out a quality commercial I can appreciate.

SXSW!!! Honestly the only good thing that has come out of my watching The Real World. I got to learn all about the music festival and now all I want to do is go. Too bad the cheapest tickets to get access to all the music artists is $550.. I guess I'll keep dreaming.. BUT the good news is they release the list of all the artists who are having shows so I can look them all up and listen to them.. anyway.. check out the site ((sxsw.com)) or just let me school you on who I think is the best..

I thought you'd want to blog about our ideals..

I hate writing.. absolutely hate picking up a pen and having to write things out. I know I need to write.. so I guess blogging is the next best thing.. I have my sister to thank for introducing me to Blogger.. (Thanks Seestah!) It's actually her birthday tomorrow (Happy Birthday Seestah!).. that's all for now.. more interesting posts later.
